My name is Ali, or Aline, as I was known in my tiny village in the Moroccan Souss. I worked there as a Peace Corps Volunteer from 2009-11. Though my service ended, I decided to continue working to promote international artisans. Artisans deserve a fair wage for their work, along with the tools necessary to develop their small businesses and improve their lives. Through the lovingly-curated SOUSSIE, I hope to encourage relevant dialogue and inspire support for these worthy efforts.

Thank you (or as we say in Moroccan Berber Tanmirt) for reading. I hope you enjoy!
